All-inclusive vacations are my happy place. Give me a frozen drink, a lounge chair by the pool, and the sweet luxury of not having to cook or clean for a week, and I’m good.
But you know what can totally kill the vibe? Packing mistakes. Forgetting something important, paying surprise baggage fees, or realizing those cute shoes you packed are terrible for walking across hot sand. Been there. Not fun.
So now I keep things simple. Over time, I’ve figured out which items are actually worth bringing. These are the things I pack first because they make every trip easier, lighter, and way more fun. That’s why I put together this list of Amazon finds for all-inclusive Caribbean vacations — tried-and-true essentials that keep my trips stress-free.
What I Always Pack First
If my suitcase had a VIP section, these would get the red-carpet treatment.
Lost luggage? Not on my island time. I drop one in my suitcase so I can track it from takeoff to touchdown. It’s especially comforting when you’re juggling connecting flights or heading to a private island.
These clip onto my suitcase, beach tote, and even my keychain. Splash from the infinity pool? Ocean mist on a catamaran ride? No problem — these little guys can handle it.
Overweight luggage fees are not how I want to spend my rum money. I weigh my bags before heading home so I can pack all the local rum, spices, and souvenirs without stress.
Charging my phone for those perfect sunset shots or topping off my Kindle before a hammock nap — this adapter keeps all my devices ready to go no matter where I’m staying.
Staying Organized on the Go
Little things that make packing (and unpacking) so much easier.
These are like magic. I can fit all my resort outfits without turning my suitcase into a messy black hole. Plus, it’s easy to grab one cube for a quick change before heading to the swim-up bar or an impromptu excursion.
This bag works as hard as I relax. It handles everything — from my in-flight essentials to sunscreen and snacks for a lazy beach day or a rainforest hike.
Resort soap? Meh. I bring my own. This keeps it dry, clean, and ready to go whether I’m freshening up after snorkeling or rinsing off before dinner. Plus, you avoid the liquids restriction when packing soap bars (for all my carry-on only girlies).
Comfort Is Non-Negotiable
For plane naps, blocking out late-night karaoke by the pool, or sneaking in some hammock time away from the crowd — these help me carve out my own little slice of peace.
Whether I’m lounging under a palm tree with ice-cold water or sipping a DIY piña colada on a catamaran, this tumbler keeps my drink exactly how I want it.
These are my everything shoes. Perfect for walking across scorching sand, exploring the resort, or hopping from the beach into a boat for a snorkeling trip. They rinse off in seconds and are ready for the next adventure.
Just-In-Case Lifesavers
For when I want underwater selfies with the fishies or to keep my phone safe during a surprise afternoon downpour. Bonus: I can still scroll through playlists or snap photos without taking it out.
Excursions call for hands-free, worry-free storage. I toss in my passport, cash, and cards, then head off for kayaking, catamaran cruising, or exploring local markets without stressing about my stuff.
I keep these for flights, breezy ferry rides, or overly air-conditioned lobbies. A dab of peppermint oil inside makes them extra refreshing.
Bonus Beach Gear That Levels Up Any Resort Trip
Skip the “shared gear” situation at the resort. This full-face mask makes snorkeling easy and natural — perfect for gliding over coral reefs or floating in that crystal-clear Caribbean water.
